Adam G. Sevani Bio

Adam G. Sevani (born June 29, 1992) is an American actor and dancer known for playing Robert Alexander III / Moose in the Step Up film series. In February 2008, Sevani appeared in the Touchstone Pictures dance drama film Step Up 2: The Streets which was the second installment of the Step Up film series. The film was about students who create a dance troupe to battle the streets. Sevani's portrayal of Robert "Moose Alexander III, a villain in the history of film, was praised by critics like The New York Times. The film received mixed praise and went on to make more than $150 million worldwide. In recognition of his performance in the film Sevani was awarded the "Best Scene Stealer" award at the 2008 Young Hollywood Awards. Sevani was confirmed in May 2009 to play the character of Moose in the third installment. Filming was held in New York City on a $30 million budget. The film, Step Up 3D, centers on Moose and his best friend Camille Stoner, who moves to New York to start University until Sevani's character gets mixed up in the underground dance scene. The film came out in August of 2010 to mixed reviews from the critics. The film grossed over $159 million worldwide by August 2012. Sevani appeared in Step Up Revolution, the fourth installment in the series, in July 2012. In 2014, Sevani once again reprised his role as Moose in the fifth installment of the Step Up film series, Step Up: All In. In August of 2010, Sevani was confirmed to be a part of the American remake of the 2008 French film LOL (Laughing Out Loud) along with Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore and Ashley Greene. The film is about Cyrus finishing her senior year at high school. The film was released in limited quantities in the United States in the month of May. It received poor reviews from critics.
