Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. Sarah is the middle child. She has an older sister Natasha Chalke and one younger sister, Piper Chalke. Sarah made her acting debut in the film City Boy (1992), produced for television. Following her debut film Sarah auditioned for the role as Becky on Roseanne (1988) in 1993. The show was seeking an alternative to Alicia Goranson, who left the show to attend studies at college. Sarah completed her high school graduation in 1995, while shooting the 1994-1995 season of Roseanne (1988). Sarah was also in the film with Jim Varney (1994) in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, she was in two films in which she starred, including Robin of Locksley (1996), and also Stand Against Fear (1996), where she played a cheerleader "Krista Wilson". Sarah was asked to appear in a 1998 show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. This happened one year following Roseanne (1988). The show was based off the TV movie with the same name, Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998), which Sarah was also a part of. She assumed Becky's (1988) role from Alicia Goranson. She announced that she would like to stop acting and attend college. [2001] (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's elder sibling on Roseanne (1988) However, she's much younger in real life. She was a part of the 1999 CCMA Awards Ceremony, at which she received an award for the most successful single of 1999. September 1999: Appeared in local Vancouver performances of the theater, at the age of 8. A native speaker of French as well as German. She is a volunteer in a hospice that caters to patients with terminal illnesses and is employed for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. Chalke likes to cook with her friends (especially Thai or sushi) as well as play guitar or climb, ski (she's an instructor) and kayaking. Her father is a lawyer, and her parents are mediators. They also own an agency for adoption of children. Her parents accompanied her to China two years ago to assist in coordinating the adoptions of numerous orphans.
