Sarah Michelle Gellar, the gorgeous actress who gained fame for her role as Buffy Summers on the television show 'Buffy the Vampire slayer She is a skilled film actress, too. At the age of four she was discovered by an agent and asked to audition for a part in the TV film "An Invasion of Privacy.' She was then made an unintentional model due to the exposure she received in the media. At the age of a girl, she continued to appear in TV shows and even got minor roles in Hollywood films. In 2004, she was selected to be the character Karen Davis, the main character in the horror film of the supernatural genre 'The Grudge. The film was a remake of an original Japanese film, and was told in a non-linear sequence. In 2006, she reprised the role in 'The Grudge 2'. Her most famous role is that of Buffy Summers (a teenager who kills Vampires) in the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". The show was critically acclaimed and commercial success, and was on for seven seasons and more than 144 episodes. It helped make Gellar the most famous persona. Gellar is a believer in giving back to society. She's involved in a variety of charities, such as Project Angel Food and Habitat for Humanity. She got married to Freddie Prinze Jr., co-star in the movie "I Know What You Did Last Summer', in 2002. They have two children.
