Meredith Salenger

Salenger loved performing for her family and friends as she was a young child. Her mother brought her to her first acting class at the age of eighteen years old. Her first role was as a'singing, dancing orphan' in Annie, John Huston's feature film. Salenger was also a part of numerous television commercials. Salenger's first starring role was in the Disney film The Journey of Natty Gann, co-starring John Cusack and Ray Wise. The movie won her the Best Actress in a Drama nomination at the Young Artist Awards. After having starred in four more films by the age of 18, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, The Kiss (1988) and Dream a Little Dream (1989) She left Hollywood to go to Harvard to pursue her studies. Following her return to Hollywood, Salenger resumed acting with credits which included Lake Placid as well as The Third Wheel. Salenger has also appeared in independent movies which include Quality Time and Sparkle & Charm. Salenger appeared in a episode from 1998 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also wrote a song titled "Flow Through Me" with Koishii and Hush as well as appearing as a background singer in the Counting Crows video for "Hanging Around". Salenger was an actor on Dawson's Creek film critic Amy Lloyd in two episodes from 2002. She also appeared as a guest on Cold Case as Sloane Easton, the victim of Cold Case's episode "Ravaged". Salenger had a cameo in the Disney film Race to Witch Mountain in 2009, in which she portrayed a television reporter called Natalie Gann. Salenger was the voice of several characters from the Cartoon Network's Star Wars The Clone Wars. She was Ione Marcy and Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee during the second season, Che Amandwe Papanoida during season three, and Pluma Sodi during season four. In the eight-episode Nick at Nite drama series Hollywood Heights, Salenger also played Lisa Sanders. She also was in numerous episodes of Mad and Robot Chicken. In addition, Salenger voiced a Nightsister ghost in a season three episode of Star Wars Rebels. The actress can be seen alongside Elias Koteas in Jake Squared along with Virginia Madsen and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
